Come enjoy an enchanted evening with your 2017 Senior Ball Committee at A Midsummer Night’s Dream! Join us as we celebrate our upcoming graduation, and revel in the beauty of the historic Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. Throughout the night, enjoy a variety of gourmet dishes, live music, dancing, and plenty of photo opportunities. Senior Ball will take place from 7PM to 11PM on Saturday, May 6th, 2017. Student ID and photo ID/passport are required, and black tie attire is requested.
Tickets may be purchased online or in person from March 6-10 in Lobby 10 (10am-2pm) and from March 13-14 in the Student Center (10am-2pm). We request that you purchase your tickets online, unless you cannot pay with a credit card. Ticket sales will open online at 10am on March 6. You may pay with credit card or TechCash online and with cash or TechCash in person.
Only members of the Class of 2017 can purchase Senior Ball tickets, using a valid MIT certificate online or by showing your Class of 2017 ID in person. You may purchase up to two (2) total tickets for yourself and a date, who does not have to be affiliated with MIT.
1350 total tickets will be sold for this event. 800 tickets will be sold as Early Bird tickets and the remainder will be sold as Regular tickets once the Early bird tickets have sold out. Ticket sales will occur until Friday, April 21, 2017 or until we reach the venue capacity (1350). Once capacity has been reached, guests who wish to purchase tickets will be added to the waitlist, and will be notified by Friday, April 28, 2017 if they receive tickets.
Each guest can purchase up to two (2) drink tickets, which can be used for beer, wine, and liquor, as well as the specialty cocktails for the night. Note that you must be 21+ as of 5/6/2017 to use these drink tickets. Water, juice, and soda will be available free of charge (no drink tickets required). A cash bar will be available at the event, where drinks will range in price from $8-12 per drink.
Refund policy: If you do not want your ticket anymore, it will be refunded to you and given to the next person on the waitlist. The reason for this is that we want all seniors to have as fair of a chance as possible at being able to attend Senior Ball. Please see the Ticketing FAQ on our website for more information.
