Guestservices volunteers are vital to the success of Commencement at MIT. We give
directions, answer questions, make conversation with guests, and help them
solve problems. We are fortunate every year to find friendly and resourceful
MIT people to help up make this day a great one for all.

anything thanks to the (mandatory) training session earlier in the week. Guests
start arriving several hours before the ceremony, so the volunteer time commitment on
Commencement Day is 6:30 am to 2:30 pm; breakfast and lunch are
